COSTA RICA & PANAMA
Both countries are know for their relative high living standards, safety and tourist infrastructure. In Costa Rica we have our own locations in Turrialba and Puerto Viejo. We also teach in Playa Grande during our immersion program in Costa Rica. In Panama you can find us in Bocas del Toro and Boquete and we also teach in Panama City during our immersion program in Panama.
Why Costa Rica?
Costa Rica is home to 30 national parks and about 5% of the world's biodiversity, about 25% of it's territory is protected land. There are cloud forests, coral reefs, rain forests, stunning beaches and volcanos to visit! You can easily spot lot's of wildlife like monkeys, sloths, toucans, hummingbirds and many many other species. Costa Rica is also known for its friendly people that live in the only country in the world without an army!
Why Panama?
Panama is known for its engineering marvel, the Panama Canal, has historic district called Casco Viejo that old quarter, designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. 8% of the Panamanian population is indigenous, there are 7 different tribes and various preserved their traditional way of living like in the Comarca San Blas. The many different ecosystems make the country perfect for hiking. Bocas del Toro has an amazing archipel with many islands to explore. The country provides great surfing and diving as well as some of world's best beaches.
